"I use my creativity, passion and skills to make something new that will have an impact on others."
Acento Studio is a jewelry brand created in Mexico City on 2015 by Alejandra Martínez Báez, a graphic designer who fell in love with jewelry design after taking various courses in Central Saint Martins in London and in Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico.
She works mainly with gold plated metals to create simple, fine, modern and minimalist pieces that can be worn on a daily basis or on any special occasion.
Each piece of jewelry is uniquely handmade, which makes it even more special, and is made with care and attention to detail, embracing natural imperfections of the hand at work.
She sees jewelry as a form of expression and named her brand “Acento”, meaning "accent" in Spanish, because she believes jewelry is an accent a woman wears in a certain way and combination to reflect her personality and create her own identity and style.
