metals

cleaning

The following method applies to gemstone jewelries with all metals.
Soak your jewelry in a bowl of lukewarm water mixed with a small amount of mild dish detergent. Leave it in the solution for 5-10 minutes. Brush gently with a toothbrush and leave it on a towel to dry.

wearing

  • Remove your jewelries before performing tasks such as kitchen-work, gardening, house-cleaning etc.
  • Remove your jewelries before doing sports. heavy sweat and physical collision may cause unexpected damage to your loved pieces.
  • Put on your jewelries after make-up and perfumes as the chemicals in these cosmetics can cause damage to your jewelries.
  • Remove your jewelries before entering swimming pools and spas. chlorinated water can cause colour changes even structural damage to your jewelries.

storing

  • Store your metal jewelries in ziplocs with a packet of silica gel (the ones come with new shoes and products) to prevent metal surface tarnishing.
  • Store your metal jewelries in a container with hard exterior but soft interior to avoid unwanted scratches and damages.
  • Clean your jewelry after each use with a lint-free cloth to remove any excess dirt, sweat or chemicals remained on the jewelry.
  • Store each type of jewelry separately to avoid scratches and tangling.
  • Store your jewelries in room temperature and dry condition.
